Japanese & English Bilingual. General Affairs & Accounting Deps
Note: This isn’t a remote position.
Our client is a well-established international export & import trading company which is located in Midtown Manhattan. We are currently looking for a bilingual (Japanese and English) candidate who has 2 years of work experience to support a manager, and to handle general affairs, administration, bookkeeping, and some accounting in the office for our client.
Other than the general affairs and administration roles, bookkeeping and accounting roles include the following, depending on your accounting knowledge and experience: AP/AR. Liaipson to communicate with an outsourcing CPA accounting firm. SOX and J-SOX. Taxes. Finance-related work. Issue bank checks, and handle foreign exchange rates.

Some of the minimum qualification requirements:
- Fluent in Japanese and English.
- Able to use PDF, Excel and PowerPoint.
- 2 years of work experience with bookkeeping (Accounts Receivable /Accounts Payable) or accounting.
- 2 years of work experience to communicate with such outsourcing companies as a CPA accounting firm, an IT company, an immigration law firm, a payroll (HR and attendance) company, and an insurance company.
- Able to start in 2 weeks if you receive a job offer.
- Authorized to work in the US permanently without a visa sponsorship. (Note: A hiring company won’t provide a work visa for this role.)
Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000/yr
An employer will provide insurance, as well as a 401k plan to its full-time employees in accordance with the company policy.
