Sales Rep - Japanese Bilingual (Conversational level or higher)
Our client is a Japanese company which has been doing business in the US for many years. We are currently looking for a potential candidate who is interested in an entry-level sales job for our client.

Some of the Main Roles:
- Participate in business meetings. Meetings are conducted in Japanese and English. Some of the customers are Japanese speakers.
- Maintain great business relationships with existing customers, and develop new accounts under the direction of management.
- Compile a list of prospective customers via many different sources.
- Conduct research and obtain credit information on prospective customers.
- Prepare samples for catalogs. (Fasteners, screws, nuts, bolts, screw machines, and etc..)
- Prepare quote and sales contracts.
- Prepare reports for business transactions.
- Represent the company in trade association meetings and the other business events to promote the company’s products.
- Travel for business up to a few times a month to visit customers and participate in business events.
Some of the Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Some Japanese language skills like N4, N3 on the Japanese proficiency exam, or a native Japanese speaker.
- Able to use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A valid US driver’s license and a car. (Note: There is no reliable public transportation near the facilities.)
- Able to travel up to a few times a month.
- Able to start in 2 weeks if you receive a job offer. If you are relocating for this sales job, an employer will provide $500.
- Authorized to work in the US without a visa sponsorship.
Compensation: $22/hr to $26/hr, depending on the related work exp, and Japanese language skills.
Please note, that this isn’t a commission-based sales role. The company is looking for a team player who can work flexibility with the other people.
Please also note, that a starting wage will be $22/hr to $24/hr max. After the first 3 months, the hourly wage may go up to $25 or $26, depending on your performance.
An employer will provide health, dental and vision insurance, as well as a 401k plan to its full-time employees in accordance with the company policy.
