Position Responsibilities
- Leads content strategy for codes, standards, and supplemental offerings with a format agnostic approach In conjunction with Product Development and Technical Services.
- Works with publishing team to leverage resources to achieve timely releases and communicates delivery schedule.
- Collaborates with product development internal technical content experts and outside authors to enhance and expand our content offerings where appropriate.
- Supports the Professional Development needs to help standardize the creation of content for training needs.
- Identifies business development opportunities for AEC content and/product offerings and presents new opportunities to CKO and key stakeholders.
- Manages the annual budget planning cycle and defines KPIs to achieve financial goals.
- Member of the Content Hub group to leverage technology solutions to optimize end2end publishing workflow.
- Creates a robust plan for ICC Custom Services collaborating with key stakeholders and negotiates and manages projects with clients.
- Partners with product managers to identify and create added content in digital codes.
- Analyzes market need in conjunction with key stakeholders in digital codes, technical services, product development, and training to deliver and solve pain points for our customers and members.
Essential Skills and Education / Experience:
- Education: BA or BS.
- Advanced Certifications a plus: Executive Leadership
- Experience: 10 years - experience in publishing and product management/development.
- Strong commercial insight of professional publishing/learning and/or the Not-for-Profit Membership Associations.
- Demonstrates knowledge of current industry practices, trends, and opportunities.
- Translates strategies into objectives and action plans with measurable outcomes.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business and demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational acumen.
