Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
- Apply paint using spray guns, rollers, or brushes according to specifications.
- Mix paints and coatings to achieve desired colors and finishes.
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial painting or related fields such as auto painting or auto body repair is preferred.
- Familiarity with machining processes and fabrication techniques is a plus.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for mixing paints and calculating material requirements are essential.
