CAD Technician

International Consulting Engineers LLC (ICE) is seeking resumes from experienced computer-aided drafting/design technicians and senior designers for our San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Edinburg offices.Key Responsibilities:

• Function in a primary design role, providing drawing and deliverable development while assisting the design lead to accomplish overall project objectives.
• Perform tasks with competency and extensive knowledge of standard techniques, procedures, and design criteria.
• Support the discipline design lead in maintaining budget, schedule, and adherence to the project scope of work.
• Create CADD designs/drawings from engineering and design sketches, mark-ups, and verbal instruction.
• Review and apply project standards and documents to ensure they are compatible and aligned with the overall project objectives.

Qualifications for Drafting Technician/Senior Designer:

• CADD Technician: 5 years of CADD experience as a drafting technician.
• Senior Designer: 10 years of experience with Civil 3D.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Experience in AEC and Civil 3D is not required but preferred. Structural design experience is a plus but not required.
• Duties include all elements of project construction document production.
• Applicants should be self-motivated team players with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
