Document Control
POSITION SUMMARY
Control of company and customer documented information regarding prints, manufacturing instructions, QMS Documentation, Quality Control Logs, and various other duties which involve storing, issuing, and maintaining records.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain and manage (locate, identify, update, dispose) documented information and databases, both electronic and hardcopy, for the following:
- Controlled Quality Management System Manuals, Procedures and Work Instructions
- Controlled Quality Management System Logs and Forms
- SDS Logs, Forms, Procedures
- Quality Management System Training Matrix and Records
- Training Documents, Manuals, CDs, Software, related to Processing Equipment
- Customer Requirement Documentation (engineering specs, supplier quality manual, copy exact policies, etc.)
- Maintain, circulate, and update controlled documents via addition, revision updates and obsolescence activities for per file maintenance guidelines and/or statutory and legal requirements, for library documentation as well as logbooks, binders, and point of use locations.
- Organize and maintain documented information into storage receptacles (electronic and hardcopy), such as file cabinets, boxes, bins, or drawers, computer network directory locations according to classification and identification information.
- Daily logging of Quality Management System Data files into required databases for reporting needs
- Daily logging of Quality Management System Records as determined by maintenance guidelines.
- Support and facilitate Control of Documents and Records through implementing requested procedure creation, updates and obtaining approvals from determined process owners.
- Support deviation release process by obtaining approvals and broadcasting to specified work centers (electronic and hardcopy) determined by deviation request.
- Support engineering in maintaining and controlling customer print documentation used in manufacturing.
- Control, circulate and update logbooks, binders, or point of use locations for documented information updates, removals, or additions.
- Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, creating spread sheets, issuing documentation to manufacturing personnel, and logging documentation or equipment borrowed to ensure their return.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work required overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
- High level of computer knowledge/experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.…) and be able to adapt to other programs used for this position.
