Title:               Research and Strategic Partnerships Manager

Reports to:     President


General Statement of Role:

Works with the president to research, build, establish and advance strong relationships with strategic partners in line with ICPF’s strategic initiatives. This position will support the continuous improvement of products and services offered by ICPF to aid industry hiring needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct labor-related research to identify opportunities and programs for corporate partners to build their talent pipeline.

- Analyze data and research relevant information on recruitment and retention to be distributed to ICPF partners through developed reports and other communication channels.

  • Assist the president on key partnership opportunities to advance corrugated packaging industry awareness for students.
  • Support and advance relationships and partnerships between secondary educational institutions and corrugated industry companies.

- Feedback any areas of strength, highlights or positive experiences from partnerships to ensure best practice can be shared and opportunities maximized.

  • Develop and manage ICPF’s contact database and CRM for corporate partners and educational partners.

- Build network of contacts (i.e. career counselors, educators) for high school, middle school, and community college outreach in identified communities near ICPF industry partners.

  • Support the creation and continuous improvement of ICPF products and services to aid ICPF initiatives.
  • Serve as the ICPF booth liaison at relevant workforce organization conferences, trade shows, state and national meetings.
  • Work with president to develop recruitment tools and best practices for industry recruitment initiatives, leveraging data insights to identify opportunities for growth.


Qualifications/Skills:

The ideal candidate is a responsive, self-starter with the ability to support research and strategic partnership initiatives. Position requires a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of marketing and sales or customer service and research experience, with excellent communications skills. Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills a must. Requires ability to interpret data, identify trends and communicate insights. Corrugated industry experience highly preferred.
