IDG is currently seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Procure-to-Pay Intern to join our team for a comprehensive, paid summer internship. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the Procure-to-Pay Intern will have the opportunity to learn about Procurement and Accounts Payable processes, systems, and best practices. In this role, you will be immersed in a global collaboration environment, which will allow them to collect and analyze data from all continents, as well as to learn and interact within different cultures on a truly global team.

This a Hybrid work environment, requiring the ability be on-site in our Needham, MA office 2 days per week.

Responsibilities
- Assisting in gathering and structuring supplier data.
- Maintaining Procure to Pay dashboards on PowerBI
- Supporting the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
- Approving vendors, including verifying risk scores.
- Uploading contracts to the repository (Ironclad) and maintaining expiration dates and types.
- Maintaining information-sharing platforms, including Global Link and SharePoint.
- Travel and Expense (T&E) Support, including policy adoption, optimizing communications and supporting data analysis.
- Performing other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Curious, has a desire to learn, and is looking to expand their knowledge across multiple systems and corporate processes.
- Experience with Excel required.
- Experience with business intelligence software a plus, ex. Power BI or Tableau, etc. - desire to exploit the systems' capabilities based on latest enhancements, example, AI Insights, etc.
- Automation skills, example, Python scripts, Power Automate, etc. are a plus.
- The ideal candidate will be available to work 30-35 hours per week ( must come in to Needham office at least 2 days a week).

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The anticipated compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $22.00 and $32.00 an hour.
