IT Manager

International Diamond Center is seeking an IT Manager to join our dynamic team! This role is perfect for someone who is looking to enhance and develop an IT Department. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of dedicated IT experience.

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the IT infrastructure, including managing IT staff, planning and implementing new systems, maintaining network security, optimizing system performance, and ensuring alignment of technology with business goals, while staying updated on emerging technologies to drive operational efficiency and strategic decision making.

Primary Responsibilities

• Leads the execution of business system technology and process improvement objectives
• Responsible to understand business processes and effectively apply them to appropriate application and technical solution
• Ensure the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and software that is used within the company
• Oversee security of data, network access, troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provide expert support when necessary
• Work with project teams to help design and implement internal systems
• Design training programs and workshops for staff
• Conduct regular system audits
• Stay current with the latest technologies and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies and prices
• Advise on future IT investments
  
  

Qualifications

• High-level knowledge of commonly used software, hardware and applications
• Strong written and oral communication skills to coordinate with other departments and explain complex technical concepts in simple language
• Strong technical skills to understand and implement IT technologies and strategies, along with a good grasp of emerging technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Project management skills to oversee the implementation of IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
• Strategic planning and business acumen to align IT systems with business goals and to anticipate future IT needs
• Knowledge of data management and cybersecurity to ensure the company’s data is secure and compliant with relevant regulations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work well under pressure
• Understanding of IT standards, protocols, policies, and procedures
• Ability to lead and develop IT staff
