About the Role:
The Medical Laboratory Supervisor is a key member of our team at International Execusearch LLC, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all laboratory services provided by the specialty department section under their immediate control.
Responsibilities:
- Directs the supervision, training, and development of section personnel.
- Plans and schedules the activities of the section.
- Ensures the proper application of laboratory policies and procedures.
- Operates the section on a cost-effective basis and within budgetary constraints.
- Serves as a liaison between the laboratory and other departments.
- Collaborates with laboratory management to develop standards in response to regulatory changes.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry, or related field required with at least four (4) years of work experience.
- Bachelors degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry, or related field required with at least six (6) years of work experience.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and commitment to accuracy are essential.
- Ability to make sound decisions under stressful situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of technical aspects of all tests performed and equipment utilized in the discipline for which he/she is responsible.
