Overview
This role is a unique opportunity to drive the financial strategy in a profitable and growing employee-owned organization, making a significant impact on both the operational and strategic success of the company. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will collaborate with the President / CEO, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Business Line Leaders, project teams, and department heads to shape and implement financial strategies that support the company's goals. The CFO will report directly to the CEO, Bob Belitz, and will be based, on a hybrid basis, in our Westfield, Massachusetts Headquarters.
Role and Responsibilities
Financial Reporting, Planning, and Analysis :
- Deliver actionable financial insights and recommendations to the CEO, COO, and Business Line Leadership to support sound business decision-making.
- Lead the annual and long-term financial planning processes, including the development of budgets and financial strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Monitor, report, and communicate on financial performance and trends to the Board of Directors, Senior Management, and staff, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals.
- Partner with the CEO in the development and evaluation of performance metrics, linking these to the annual incentive compensation program.
- Work with the COO and Business Line Leaders to analyze project performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and manage cash flow forecasting to ensure the effectiveness of the company's shareholder transition program.
- Communicate financial data to clients as needed throughout project lifecycles.
