What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Psychiatrist-Inpatient position at International Executive Service Corps?
We are seeking an inpatient psychiatrist for a PRN position who will provide and supervise medical and physical care to Kaiser Permanente (KP) members admitted to the KP “core” psychiatric hospitals. The inpatient psychiatrist will be responsible for utilizing appropriate psychotherapeutic methods, medication management and treatment plan development in close collaboration with treatment team members, pharmacy and other hospital staff and will have nurse practitioner support. The work hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5p with no call responsibilities.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :
- Physician must be board certified or board eligible with board certification within 24 months of eligibility.
- Board certified psychiatrist with strong interest in working in an inpatient setting.
- Experience and competence with management of wide age ranges (from pre-adolescent to geriatric populations).
- Experience and competence with management of a wide variety of primary psychiatric diagnoses, including but not limited to, mood disorders, psychotic disorders and substance use disorders.
- Previous experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
