International Experience (iE) is a small non-profit student exchange organization with a large global community. We are seeking to hire someone who is organized, goal oriented and wants to make a positive impact in their local community. Our ideal candidate enjoys working with youth and is a motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. This person should demonstrate responsibility, integrity, and excellent organizational & communication skills. The Regional Coordinator (RC) is responsible for placing and supervising exchange students within their region. This role focuses heavily on recruiting volunteer host families within the assigned region, state and communities. The Regional Coordinator will manage the entire recruitment and placement process, liaise with local high schools, and act as the primary point of contact for students and host families throughout the exchange term.
Responsibilities Include:
- Identify and recruit volunteer host families through a variety of methods to achieve placement goals (30 placements) in the assigned locations.
- Complete all vetting procedures for host families, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Facilitate placement of exchange students.
- Maintain compliant monthly contact with students and host families, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct in-person visits with students every other month to monitor their experience.
- Write monthly reports.
- Promote student immersion and community activities.
- Encourage students to engage actively in their schools and local communities.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of students, addressing any concerns promptly and appropriately.
- Adhere to organizational guidelines and iE and DoS regulations governing exchange programs.
Requirements:
- Goal-oriented and motivated self-starter with strong verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Owns a computer, proficiency in Microsoft, modern technology and digital tools relevant to the role.
- Comfortable & efficient while working remotely and independently.
- Age 25 or older
- Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Pass a criminal background screening

Job Type: 1099 Contract position, Part-time (25-30 hours per week)
Pay: $16.00 per hour Commissions. Bonuses & International travel when goals are met.
Work Location: Remote/Hybrid (will require commutes for recruitment, vetting & supervision)
