Salary Range : $40,000 to 50,000 Annually
Chicago-Onsite) The purpose of the Mailroom Associate is to ensure the fulfillment of donor mailings and shipments on behalf of The Fellowship. This includes ensuring shipping and receiving all packages are done efficiently and in a timely manner. The Mailroom Associate is also responsible for the preparation of donor mailings as a fundraising source for the organization. This position will work in tandem with the Fulfillment Manager to meet the teams’ goals and metrics as it relates to donor mailings. This position is based in our headquarters located in downtown Chicago.
We are seeking an individual with a high school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree is preferred. Minimum of 1 year mailroom experience using postal meters, mail inserters, and other industrial scale mailroom equipment as well as processing online mailing options is required. Experience with online and manual fulfillment and packaging of orders is required.
Essential Job Responsibilities Include :
Mailing and Distribution :
- Print the daily letters, receipts, fulfillment and premium orders daily.
- Prepare letters for the Donor Fulfillment Machine Operator to insert for final envelope and postage application via the meter.
- Assists other departments within the organization on special mailings.
- Serve as the primary backup for initial setup of letters for processing.
- Receive and complete department shipping requests via USPS, Fed Ex, or UPS daily.
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing postal and courier mail.
- Works with Donor Fulfillment Manager to review and assess all departmental daily workflows and provide suggested solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
