IFF’s Receptionist will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. You will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, conference room management and meeting support, occasional requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical and office support duties. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Ability to work from a stool height chair or standing position. Reception desk is 42 inches high.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You will spend your time…

  • Answering Microsoft Teams calls and directs the caller to the appropriate associate in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Greeting and directing employees and visitors with a positive attitude
  • Managing meeting room reservations including internal drink orders and maintenance related requests.
  • Providing callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company phone numbers, company website and other related information.
  • Assisting with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, sample labeling, distribution of employee meal vouchers and parking coupons.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets.

Required Experience/Education:

  • High-school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable using Apple products such as an iMac
  • Excellent Communication skills with both internal and external clients; Comfortable communicating with employees of all levels
  • Customer/Client Focus by ability to greet and direct employees/visitors as well as respond to callers with a positive attitude

Preferred Experience/Education:

  • Associate’s degree.
  • Two years of related experience

Compensation ($55,300.00 - $62,280.00) is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.59 - $28.84 per hour
