What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at International Food Products Corporation?
FPosition Purpose: Conduct maintenance operations throughout the plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance duties as directed by maintenance supervisory staff.
- Communicate daily with all staff and production about maintenance activity planned/unplanned.
- Operate plant equipment within established procedures.
- Follow all plant safety procedures to protect employees and company assets.
- Follow all quality assurance requirements as outlined in the QC manual to protect quality, integrity, and food safety.
- Complete necessary maintenance record keeping.
- Follow established plant housekeeping requirements.
- Contribute to team environment by sharing ideas for continuous improvement.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with any and all other duties that may be asked.
Knowledge and Skill Level:
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Computer skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook helpful but not required
- Basic welding, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing skills

- Hours 7:00am - 3:00pm, with shared call in duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
