Position: Art Technology Research Intern
Organization: International Free Expression Project (IFEP)
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Compensation: $15/hour, up to 10 hours per week / academic credit
The International Free Expression Project (IFEP) seeks a motivated and skilled student intern for the spring semester to contribute to a research project focused on the latest art technologies being employed globally. This work will directly inform gatherings of technologists and help shape the creation of a cutting-edge public art installation dedicated to free expression.
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging art technologies and their applications worldwide.
- Assist in interviewing artists, technologists, and other relevant professionals to gather insights and case studies.
- Develop written reports, presentations, and other materials summarizing findings.
- Collaborate with IFEP leadership to shape the vision for a public art installation.
- Background in art, preferably with a focus on art technology.
- Strong research and interviewing skills.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Commitment to human rights and free expression.
