What You'll Do
This position is a full-time permanent position in a manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets), bingo paper and bingo dabbers.
The Batch Machine Operator plays a crucial role in overseeing the batch processing system, ensuring optimal machine performance, product quality, and adherence to safety protocols. This position requires vigilance in monitoring equipment, identifying and troubleshooting issues promptly, and maintaining compliance with company manufacturing standards to support efficient production workflows.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a mechanically inclined professional with hands-on experience in operating manufacturing equipment. Success in this position depends on efficiency in a fast-paced production environment, the ability to troubleshoot minor issues independently and maintaining a strong commitment to quality, accuracy and teamwork. Strong organizational skills, a proactive problem-solving approach and strict adherence to safety protocols are essential. This position requires results-driven mindset, adaptability to evolving manufacturing demands and the ability to contribute to a high-performance production team are key attributes for success.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Operate and monitor batch processing equipment to ensure proper function and efficiency, troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions, and maintain adherence to quality control standards and production procedures.
- Attain daily shift production requirements and strive to meet or exceed production goals.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards while maintaining proper storage of unused payouts and flares.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with the Shift Supervisor regarding production issues, quality concerns, and safety matters.
- Verify completion and accuracy of all shift reports and logs and oversee employees assigned to the batch operation area.
- Train designated backup operators in all batch functions and duties to ensure operational continuity.
- Review Web Doc for special instructions on each form number and inspect skids for proper labeling, serial numbers, colors, and form numbers before batch wrapping.
- Follow specific wrapping instructions based on production requirements.
- Record all skids prepared in the appropriate log for tracking and verification, ensuring that labels, flares, payouts and win codes are accurate with a secondary verification.
- Re-case returned products, manage inventory efficiently and perform additional duties as assigned by the manager to support production needs.
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 to 3 years' experience in machine operation or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery with minimal assistance.
- Ability to read and follow instructions precisely to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Proficiency in operating computers and inputting data accurately.
- Ability to lead and direct subordinates, if applicable.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- High attention to detail to ensure production accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (sponsorship is not available).
