Who we are:

International Gold Gymnastics (IGG) is an athletic facility that has been a Tallahassee business since 1995. IGG Programs include Classes (recreational & competitive), Camps (after-school, summer, seasonal), as well as Special Events (birthday parties, open gym).

We are a medium-sized business (~30 staff) looking to grow!

Position Summary:

IGG is hiring an Office Manager. The ideal candidate will work within the front office to support the successful management and operation of IGG’s Programs. Management and leadership skills are essential to the success of this position. As the Office Manager, you will be overseeing personnel, working closely with the Director of Operations, the Owner and other members of our management team to ensure the efficient and successful operation of our customer service operations. As a member of our management team, you will review and monitor budgets, revenue growth, and profitability, as well as report on how the business is functioning and whether the implemented processes and policies are working or need changes.

IGG specializes in instruction for children. While the position of Office Manager focuses on customer service, candidates must be comfortable working with/around children, and have some knowledge of childcare adjacent business models.

Schedule:

The work schedule is 35-40 hours per week. A typical workday during the School Year is 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday-Friday. During Summer, this workday may shift to the AM.

The Office Manager determines the office staff work schedule, including their own. This position’s in-person workday is relatively flexible, so long as the required daily operational functions are appropriately delegated to other qualified personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of all personnel and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Evaluate employee performance and makes recommendations for optimal employee performance.
  • Counsel and discipline employees when necessary; monitor productivity levels of personnel.
  • Process daily cash reconciliation/deposits and other reports as necessary and ensures petty cash is accounted and safeguarded.
  • Develops progressive departmental goals and appropriate measures to ensure timely effective results.
  • Responsible for and will recommend procurement of supplies, equipment and modifications necessary for daily operations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and escalate customer complaints accordingly.
  • Maintain open communication with the Director of Operations, the Owner and other members of our management team on daily operational issues.
  • Keep office staff informed by scheduling staff meetings and providing other information sessions as deemed necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Computer knowledge required (Microsoft Office, Program Enrollment Software)
  • Familiarity with iClassPro is a plus.
  • Customer Service skills and training.
  • Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Master’s Degree of Business Administration or related field.
  • Relevant or any other job-related vocational coursework.
  • A background in Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Tumbling or Childcare is a big bonus!

Physical Requirements:

  • This position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
