Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced chefs to join our team and help fuel our camp family with nutritious and delicious meals. IGC serves all meals buffet-style (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), providing over 1,500 meals daily in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in high-volume food service and be passionate about maintaining a positive dining experience for campers and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality meals for campers and staff in a buffet-style setting
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are upheld at all times
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, managing high meal volumes
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations throughout meal service
- Adhere to all local, federal, and child safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a high-volume kitchen or food service environment
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Must pass all local, federal, and child abuse clearances
