In 1971 the Klaus Family founded International Gymnastics Camp with a vision to build a place that united the gymnastics world in a fun, kind, safe, and positive environment. Nestled in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, more than 150,000 campers from over 60 countries have called IGC their home away from home. As the longest Accredited ACA Gymnastics Summer Camp, the Klaus Family has been pioneers of safety and kindness in the gymnastics world since the beginning and look forward to the next 50 years and beyond!
Position Overview:
IGC is looking for responsible and dependable drivers to safely transport campers and staff to and from the airport. With campers and staff traveling from across the country and around the world, our transportation services ensure a smooth and safe arrival and departure experience. This role requires flexibility, as flight times may vary, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport campers and staff between the airport and camp
- Follow all traffic laws and drive defensively to ensure passenger safety
- Maintain cleanliness of IGC vehicles
- Ensure vehicles are fueled and ready for transport
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and trip details
- Follow designated routes and schedules accurately
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver’s license with at least five years of driving experience
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Friendly, professional, and attentive demeanor when transporting children
- Flexible schedule, with availability for nights and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to remain calm in high-traffic or stressful driving conditions
- Must pass all local, state, federal, and child abuse clearances
