The Role
Opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse, to provide mental health support services to our clients. Key responsibilities:
- Provide a high standard of clinical care pertaining to mental health care
- Initiates appropriate treatment and referral in emergency situations
- Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team
- Management of patients on mental health medications
- Administration of medications
- Conducting health promotional activities
- Working with people from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds
- Be recognized, well-acknowledge and rewarded
- Multidisciplinary, dynamic and collaborative team
- Opportunities to expand your career and support an Australian and international network
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Mental Health Nursing
- Advanced clinical assessment, care planning and crisis management skills
- Current First Aid / BLS certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
