What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inkmaker I position at International Imaging Materials, Inc?
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare all inks and backings, to include TTR and Fluid Inks.
- Responsible for testing, inventory control, equipment monitoring and cleaning.
- Perform quality control testing of in-process and finished ink and backings.
- Support Engineering and Manufacturing on ink initiatives,
- Help establish run rates and scrap loss for new fluid ink processes
- Build production inks to meet customer demands
- Monitor ink room equipment during operation and clean equipment when job is complete.
- Insure proper storage, recording and stock rotation of both raw materials and finished inks.
- Communicate with coating department on quality of materials which are being produced.
- Ability to perform effectively in a team environment.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

- Previous experience in a production environment, mixing, dispersing operations preferred.
- Ability to understand specifications, identify products and follow recipe and instructions.
- Good mathematical aptitude.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in team environment.
- Solid PC skills to include MS Office and internal programs.
- Forklift certification a plus.
