About the Position
The International Leadership of Texas is a leading educational institution dedicated to preparing students for exceptional leadership roles in the international community. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced High School Educator Specialist to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
- Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society by creating a flexible program and environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
- Assist students in developing positive feelings toward themselves and others.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Military service experience (minimum 4 years Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserves) is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal skills with diverse populations in-person and on the telephone.
- Knowledge of company community, computer systems, financial procedures, and legal requirements.
Working Conditions
- Work inside, may work outside; regular exposure to noise.
- Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
- Frequent walking; regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); may lift and move text books and classroom equipment.
