Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to fill the role of Support Staff for Special Education. As an Instructional Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with implementing classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs.
- Help meet the physical and instructional needs of individual students with disabilities.
- Supervise and assist students during lunch, bus duty, and playground activities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- Participate in professional development programs and staff meetings.
Requirements:
- Earned college credits (48 ); Associates degree preferred or High School Diploma with passing formal academic assessment.
- Two years of experience working with children.
- Ability to work with children with disabilities, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
