Job Title: Laborer
Reports to: Labor Foreman
Job Summary:
This role involves performing routine physical labor, moving materials and equipment, cleaning work areas, operating various tools, and assisting blasters.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Perform physical work under close supervision
- Follow oral and written instructions from supervisors or experienced workers
- Move materials and equipment manually or with machinery
- Operate pneumatic, electric, and hand tools
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, or crawl at various heights and in confined spaces
- Regularly required to safely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- May be required to wear a respirator to perform assigned tasks
Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to carry out simple to complex instructions in a safe and efficient manner
Working Conditions:
This role involves repetitive physical work, exposure to dusty conditions, extreme temperatures, high noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and hazardous machinery.
