JOB SUMMARY
The Billing and Collections Specialist is responsible for data entry into accounts receivable module, recording and monitoring of client billings, collections, and accounts receivables.
JOB DETAILS
- Location: Hybrid working options.
- Corporate office is in Indianapolis, IN

- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. IMG will not be providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all protected health information.
- Enters revenue and customer reimbursements into A/R module timely
- Sends invoices and monthly statements to customers
- Receive and post customer payments into A/R module
- Responsible for the collections of outstanding A/R (by email, telephone, or mail), including leading collections meetings internally/externally.
- Responsible for monitoring service level agreements with customers
- Responsible for posting revenue into General Ledger accurately
- Assist reconciliation specialist in reconciling various receivable ledger balances
- Other job duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-year work experience in Billing or Collections
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Excel – formulas, sort and manipulate data, and format reports and charts. Proficiency in matching and analyzing data.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

PREFERRED SKILLS
- Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or relevant field preferred
- Experience working with Accounting software (e.g. Workday) and Claim/Case Management software (Dynamo) preferred
