The Institute for Capacity Development (ICD) seeks to hire an Information Management Analyst / Sr. Information Management Analyst (IMA) in the Operations Management (ICDOM) division. The successful candidate will report to the Section Chief for Information Management Systems (IMS) and be responsible for various activities to support the Fund's delivery of internal and external training.
As a member of the technically oriented IMS team, the IMA performs a range of responsibilities, including digital content management, knowledge management, communications, digital design, website development, project coordination and budget tracking. The IMA works closely with content and knowledge owners in ICD and the Regional Training Centers, technical leads in the IT Department, digital designers in Corporate Services, and CD event organizers in ICD, Secretaries and Communications departments.
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
Manage ICD's SharePoint site, serving as one of two webmasters, ensuring the site design and information architecture are user-centric and meets Fund standards. Develop and implement SharePoint site changes and content updates as requested by ICD's content owners. Liaise with ITD on planned SharePoint upgrades and participate in the IMF's SharePoint User Group (SPUG). As a member of the department's Knowledge Management (KM) team, support the KM program by coordinating project work toward the delivery of content and related system changes. Maintain the Fund's CD Connect website hosted on Adobe Experience Manager Partner with ICDGP (Global Partners) to deliver digital designs and content in support of ICD's events at the Annual and Spring Meetings. Prepare draft memoranda, concept notes, guidance or policy communications. Participate in ICDOM's matrixed communication team and help develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on the department's strategic objectives and the target audience. Support the Fund's branding guidelines, ensuring ICD's publications, training materials and artifacts are compliant. Manage the procurement, annual license renewal and user allocation of ICD's training-related software. Track and report on ICD's annual budget for training-related software.
Minimum qualifications :
Educational development, typically acquired through the completion of a university degree in programming / systems, computer science, statistics, finance, mathematics, economics, or a related field of study, is required. Alternatively, a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related position at Grade A5, or equivalent, is required.
The successful candidate has :
- Intermediate to advanced skills in SharePoint Online.
- Design and content management skills, user experience (UX) design principles and creative digital design.
- Experience with content management systems e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, as well as graphic tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Canva) with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies and leverage their benefit for business operations.
- Experience working on Knowledge Management initiatives.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal, relationship management and client-oriented skills.
- Strong work management with the ability to perform both day-to-day operational responsibilities and project assignments.
- The ability to work under pressure, both autonomously and in a team environment.

This is a one-year contractual appointment. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent's performance, budget availability, and continuous business need.
