What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Rep - Travel Coordinator position at International Monetary Systems?
International Monetary Systems is a business to business sales company and is looking for a motivated travel rep. The individual that fills this position will be required to:
- Handle incoming/outgoing phone calls and emails from clients
- Sell travel accommodations to clients
- Book travel reservations
- Create relationships with clients and property managers
- Attend expos/events in WI and IL with possible travel to other markets.
- Have a passion for travel
Job Requirements:
The right individual will have previous customer service and or sales experience, phone experience and will be well groomed and dependable. Previous travel experience is helpful but not required. Other requirements are:
- Excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in person
- Knowledge and previous use of Outlook and Word
- Be detailed oriented, organized and friendly
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- An outgoing and engaging personality
- Ability to resolve problems and issues as they arise
- Be flexible and able to adjust to change
- Reliable Transportation
- Good at geography
