What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly/ Electrical Wiring/Panel manufacturing technician position at International Motor Controls?
We are currently seeking an Electrical Control Wiring Technician! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.
- Carries out electrical wiring work, i.e Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels; installs Buss, Busbar, electrical feeders, power systems and/or switch gear required in accordance with an electrical diagram or schematic.
- Use a variety of tools and materials.
- Mechanical skills will include ability to drill, tap, and build enclosures.
- Wires and assembles electrical components (e.g. power supplies, motors, sensors etc.) used to connect medium and low voltage electrical systems, devices and equipment in industrial environments in accordance with an electrical diagram or schematic.
- Wires electrical distribution panels and switchboards in accordance with an electrical diagram or schematic.
- Installs components, identifies the correct terminals and connects up wires, switches, etc. as per the technical specifications shown on the electrical wiring diagram.
- Ensure safety of electrical installations.
- Conduct functional tests on installations to check they work correctly.
- Perform preventive maintenance as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
