Position Overview

International has an exciting opportunity for a Diagnostic Repair Strategy Program Manager to join our team at the headquarters in Lisle, IL.
The Diagnostics Repair Strategy Program Manager focuses upfront on the New Product Development process to help drive design for diagnostics. Making sure that service is protected and ensure that new components can be easily diagnosed. They work closely with International R&D teams to maintain service standards and ensure new components are diagnosable. Additionally, they effectively communicate this information to the Service Solutions teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop requirements and the vision of next generation diagnostics, which focuses on incorporating diagnostics and prognostics early in the product development
- Participate in controls engineering design reviews, FMEAs, etc.
- Support warranty reduction projects related to diagnostics
- Benchmark service information and tools from other engine and automotive manufacturers and keep up with industry standards and best practices
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of technical service engineering, automotive service or truck service experience
OR
- Master’s degree
- At least 3 years of technical service engineering, automotive service or truck service experience
OR
- At least 7 years of technical service engineering, automotive service or truck service experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Desired Skills
- Experience in tools such as GT-Power, DevX, INCA, Matlab, Calterm and Simulink, Vector CANalyzer and CANoe
- Understanding of UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services)
- Excellent presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills
- Approachable with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Familiarity with VisMockUp, CAD, Teamcenter or other engineering drawing systems
