TRATON R&D has an opportunity for the position of: Release Train Engineer of Performance, Emissions & OBD Integration. TRATON R&DThe TRATON Research & Development (R&D) organization is going through a major transformation with the target to become an even stronger Group by completing the establishment of a worldwide Group R&D organization. We will set ourselves up to be able to fully deliver the time-critical Group R&D roadmap and to fulfil the high expectations to deliver outstanding customer value and drive effectiveness. This enables us to secure competitiveness in our business, in other words win market positions and ensure Group R&D is a strong business partner for TRATON Group and the brands (Scania, MAN, INTERNATIONAL, Volkswagen Truck & Bus). We are now looking for a new colleague within People & Culture, who wants to join the Group R&D HR change journey. Position Details· What kind of position/job is this? This is a full-time/permanent position within the TRATON R&D section Performance & Emissions Integration· Where is the job located? The role offers the flexibility to be based in any of the locations where the Group HR R&D organization operates (Munich, Germany; Södertälje, Sweden; Lisle / Rochester Hills USA)· Who will I be reporting to? Your tasks- Facilitate Flow and manage work in progress backlog and capacity within the VCT; keep track and communicate progress
- Coordinate execution of back logs & Ways of Working (WoW) topics, secure that Teams have necessary dialogue within and between VCT’s even outside own V CF
- Work actively to remove obstacles and waste, to improve flow performance
- Help Teams within VCT to ensure the Flow of cross functional deliverables and milestones according to OnePDP; ensure agreed roadmap in an iterative way with continuous integration and short feedback loops
Responsibilities
- Responsible for initiating activities to handle risks regarding capacity within the VCT
- Lead and coach the VCT in continuous improvement based on TRATON thinking model and lean-agile principles & methods to effectively and efficiently deliver value
- Facilitate VCT events and other rituals to ensure adequate information for Flow and cross functional stakeholders (incl. Line Management) to be able to give feedback to VCT
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
- At least 12 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience
- At least 6 years of experience managing technical professionals and technical staff in engineering and design activities
OR
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
- At least 10 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience
- At least 6 years of experience managing technical professionals and technical staff in engineering and design activities
OR
- PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
- At least 8 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience
- At least 6 years of experience managing technical professionals and technical staff in engineering and design activities
Additional Requirements
