Position Overview
International Motors in Lisle, IL has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Consultant supporting our Engineering and Research & Development (R&D) function.
In this role, you will be responsible for business case development/modeling, financial analysis, and reporting for International’s engineering & product development programs.
In addition to finance experience and business acumen, this role requires exceptional communication skills and a high level of cross-functional interaction to ensure International product launches are a success.
Responsibilities
• Finance lead for assigned product programs, supporting different vehicle and powertrain platforms• Coordinate cross-functionally with various departments, including Engineering, Sales, Program Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality• Prepare Business Cases to assess financial viability of engineering & product development programs• Review and report monthly data, monitoring and tracking program status, and work hand-in-hand with program teams to resolve issues• Effectively communicate and formally present the financial status of product programs to senior leadership• Support financial forecasting, annual budgeting, and longer-term strategic planning processes• Prepare ad hoc analyses as required
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of finance experience
- 1 year lead experience
OR
- Master’s degree
- At least 3 years of finance experience
- 1 year lead experience
OR
- At least 8 years of finance experience
- 1 year lead experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
