Senior Financial Consultant

Position Overview

International Motors in Lisle, IL has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Consultant supporting our Engineering and Research & Development (R&D) function.

In this role, you will be responsible for business case development/modeling, financial analysis, and reporting for International’s engineering & product development programs.

In addition to finance experience and business acumen, this role requires exceptional communication skills and a high level of cross-functional interaction to ensure International product launches are a success.

Responsibilities

• Finance lead for assigned product programs, supporting different vehicle and powertrain platforms• Coordinate cross-functionally with various departments, including Engineering, Sales, Program Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality• Prepare Business Cases to assess financial viability of engineering & product development programs• Review and report monthly data, monitoring and tracking program status, and work hand-in-hand with program teams to resolve issues• Effectively communicate and formally present the financial status of product programs to senior leadership• Support financial forecasting, annual budgeting, and longer-term strategic planning processes• Prepare ad hoc analyses as required

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of finance experience
• 1 year lead experience

OR

• Master’s degree
• At least 3 years of finance experience
• 1 year lead experience

OR

• At least 8 years of finance experience
• 1 year lead experience

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. • Strong problem-solving ability; able to employ technical skills in a resourceful and creative manner• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; comfortable with communicating and presenting across all organizational levels, including Senior Leadership• Ability to distill complex financial concepts/data/models into simple, concise reports• Flexibility to effectively cope with change and to handle ambiguity• Excellent time management skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet specific deadlines• Work effectively in a team environment• Work proficiently in Excel, PowerPoint, ThinkCell; Power BI a plus
