Position Overview
International is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer.
This role will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution. Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. GLP, GMP, ISO, Six Sigma).
Responsibilities
- Managing RCA requests from customers
- Examining and determining actions for non-conforming materials
- Attending and representing organization in production meetings
- Using problem solving tools to ensure root cause correction
- Evaluate and or use technical equipment
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of Engineering and Quality Assurance experience
OR
- Master’s degree
OR
- At least 4 years of Engineering and Quality Assurance experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
- Knowledge and proficiency in using problem solving tools, quality tools, and working within prescribed quality systems.
- Able to be self-managing and work with colleagues well.
- Proficient with Office 365 tools.
