The Job You Will Perform
This position will handle accounting responsibilities related to internal sales commissions and supporting month-end general ledger activities for North American Packaging Solutions. The candidate will work closely with the NAPS business division, Local Sales teams, and the Commercial & Sales Excellence team to provide comprehensive reporting and analysis on sales commissions. The responsibilities of this position include:

The Job You Will Perform
This position will handle accounting responsibilities related to internal sales commissions and supporting month-end general ledger activities for North American Packaging Solutions. The candidate will work closely with the NAPS business division, Local Sales teams, and the Commercial & Sales Excellence team to provide comprehensive reporting and analysis on sales commissions. The responsibilities of this position include:
- Establishing and maintaining sales commission accruals in dual systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Calculating monthly commission payments for NAPS sales representatives.
- Tracking and retaining necessary monthly commission approvals for sales areas.
- Coordinating SCP setup for new sales representatives in collaboration with HR and the Commercial Excellence team.
- Reconciling sales commission accrual accounts monthly and working with the business to minimize adjustments.
- Assisting sales managers in updating the commercial hub to ensure accurate sales rep account assignments, including leading periodic training sessions.
- Generating various reports and conducting analyses related to sales commissions as requested by the NAPS Sales, Finance, or Commercial Excellence teams.
- Facilitating internal and external audits of sales commissions.
- Identifying and implementing process improvement projects related to the centralized sales commission accounting process, while collaborating with the Commercial Excellence team and IT.
- Coordinating, training, and maintaining a good relationship with our outsourcing partner (Cap-Gemini).
- Bachelor's degree or MBA in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of Accounting or Finance experience preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and V-lookup required
- SAP and AO experience preferred
- Power BI skills or willingness to learn
