Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s short –term incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:
- The Raw Materials Data Analyst position is responsible for supporting all Raw Materials team members. The Data Analyst works to support various staff groups in Global Sourcing with analysis, data mining insight creation and reporting. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Raw Materials.
- Collects, transforms and maintains all reporting data used by the Raw Materials team
- Provides ad hoc spend analyses for specific vendors, material groups, categories and raw data from other sources to assist buyers and managers
- Continuously improves data and reporting infrastructure by automating workflows, improving data quality, and introducing new valuable data sources
- Maintains Raw Materials monthly report and other key reports
- Continuously improves the analytical resources available to the team and Global Sourcing through collaboration with other Sourcing and COE analysts.
- Assists buyers with all data related needs during Sourcing Events
- Conducts statistical analyses to help the business make better decisions
- Interprets available data and provides insight to buying team on a regular basis
The Skills You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Finance or other suitable degree
- A 1-3 years’ work experience is desired including work on cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Data visualization tools (PowerBI and/or Tableau) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Exposure to SAP, SQL, Alteryx, Power Automate and Python preferred but not necessary
- Desire to learn new analytical skills
- Proactive nature, self-driven, ability to work independently, looking to continually improve
