Job Position- New Hire / Operator in Training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES .
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures while proactively seeking out potential safety hazards.
- Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals.
- Organize final products for shipping and distribution.
- Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain a continuously safe and clean teamwork environment.
- Following Safe Reliable Methods (SRMs)
- Reporting any safety or maintenance concerns
- Learn and develop machine operator skills.
- Attending and participating in Plant safety meetings.
- Managing controllable costs through proper equipment, tool and consumable usage
CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO PASS ENTRY LEVEL MATH, READING, & MECHANICAL APTITUDE TEST, PASS DRUG SCREEN, HEALTH ASSESSMENT, & BACKGROUND CHECK.
WORKS ROTATING SHIFTS, WEEKENDS, & OT. Standard workday is 8 hours with two 15 minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break. Employee is required to work a 12 hour shift if scheduled with an additional 15-minute break.
EDUCATION : High school diploma or GED Preferred,
EXPERIENCE : 1 year in an Industrial Manufacturing Environment Preferred.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read a tape measure.
