About the Role: The Recovery Area Process Manager position is a key part of our Utilities team, responsible for managing the evaporator and recovery process, as well as supporting the steam system, gas, raw water treatment, and electric power distribution to the mill.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the recovery area operations team and operating shift crews to achieve mill and Recovery Department objectives
- Develop process improvement plans and implement systems for continuous improvement
- Manage the Recovery Area team in a goal-oriented environment to deliver and exceed target results in areas of safety, engagement, cost, reliability, and quality
- Assure a safe and highly motivated workforce by demonstrating leadership in safety and environmental efforts
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by staying current with new technologies and sharing best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Five years of manufacturing experience with knowledge of maintenance management principles
- Able to collect, communicate, and analyze data, and possess strong verbal skills and computer experience
