Synopsis: We seek a skilled Production Excellence Director to lead our Recovery Area operations team and operating shift crews, achieving mill and Recovery Department objectives while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Duties:
- Develop and implement process improvement plans to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage the Recovery Area team to deliver and exceed target results in areas of safety, engagement, cost, reliability, and quality
- Assure a safe and highly motivated workforce by demonstrating leadership in safety and environmental efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices and drive innovation
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by staying current with new technologies and promoting professional development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Five years of manufacturing experience with knowledge of maintenance management principles
- Able to collect, communicate, and analyze data, and possess strong verbal skills and computer experience
