**Primary Responsibilities**
- Conduct consultations to support patients in managing obesity and metabolic health conditions.
- Prescribe and manage GLP-1 medications and other obesity treatments.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in hormone replacement therapy (HRT), weight management.
- Provide personalized health coaching focusing on metabolic health, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term wellness.
- Educate patients on metabolic dysfunction, insulin resistance, and risk factors for metabolic syndrome, utilizing insights from the 12-Month Health Transformation training.
- Use evidence-based practices to identify metabolic syndrome and relevant risk factors, such as hypertension, hyperglycemia, abdominal obesity, and hyperlipidemia, while applying appropriate treatment protocols.
**Qualifications**
- Active MD or NP license in Maryland.
- Experience in hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, PRP, or general wellness is a plus (willing to train).
- Strong communication and education skills with patients.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for helping patients improve their health and quality of life.
