Position Title: Lube Technician

Position Summary:
The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance services quickly and efficiently, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. This entry-level role is essential in supporting shop productivity and providing a strong foundation for career advancement in automotive service.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform oil and filter changes on cars, trucks, and SUVs
Check and replenish vehicle fluids (coolant, transmission, power steering, windshield washer, brake)
Inspect tires for wear and proper inflation; rotate or replace tires as needed
Inspect and replace air filters and cabin filters
Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential issues
Report inspection findings to mechanics and fleet manager
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment
Adhere to all company safety procedures and OSHA standards
Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly
Assist other technicians and service staff as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior automotive or mechanical experience a plus but not required
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions
Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a service shop environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and various weather conditions
Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and physical activity required
May be required to work weekends or evenings depending on business needs
