Caregiver/Personal Assistant

International Quality Homecare of Wisconsin - is seeking part-time & full-time Caregiver/Supportive Homecare Workers to work in/around the La Crosse, WI area.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The Caregiver is responsible for light housekeeping duties, attendant care services and companionship as defined by individual client needs. The homemaker helps to keep the client’s home clean and assist with personal cares as indicated in the client’s care plan.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

• Performs homemaking activities which include but are not limited to vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed lines, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom.
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Runs errands for client or accompanies clients during errand running
• Assists the clients with ADLs such as bathing, toileting, grooming, eating, ambulation, and dressing
• Carefully follows client care plan at all times when providing homecare services.

All tasks in the client care plan and as assigned by the Supervisor

The individual must meet the age requirements to provide the services and be flexible enough for the changes in schedule based on the needs of the client The Caregiver must be able to provide the services needed based on the client’s care plan and must be able to communicate with the client and supervisor effectively. The Individual must be able to pass a criminal background check in the state in which he/she will be working. The Caregiver must have reliable means of transportation to work and must have a way to communicate with his/her supervisor regularly regarding schedule changes.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
