(“IRI”), headquartered in Reston, Virginia, with easy access to Washington, DC, provides administrative and technical support to the Republic of the Marshall Islands Maritime Administrator and Corporate Registrar. IRI’s Reston, Virginia office has an immediate opening for an Assistant General Counsel. This is an ideal position for a recent law school graduate or junior attorney with interest in international, admiralty, and corporate law.
Job Requirements and Education :
- Active member of the bar of any U.S. jurisdiction.
- Flexible, able to balance priorities, work independently, excellent interpersonal skills, and judgement.
- Available for domestic and international travel.
- Foreign language and international experience with OECD tax transparency standards, FATF AML / CFT / CPF standards, or EU international tax standards a plus.
