Job Overview :
The Communication Coordinator is a vital member of the Resource Development Department and serves as the primary communications professional for the organization. This role focuses on creating and executing a communications strategy to enhance the visibility of the IRC, support resource development and fundraising goals, and engage stakeholders in Atlanta, Miami, and Tallahassee. Working closely with program staff, leadership, and external partners, the Communication Coordinator crafts impactful messaging, manages digital platforms, and promotes IRC's mission.
Job Requirements :
In collaboration with the Development Director, the Communication Coordinator will :
Strategic Communications
- Develop and implement a communications strategy in alignment with Resource Development goals to enhance fundraising, donor engagement, and community awareness.
- Create materials for donor appeals, campaigns, and stewardship efforts.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all platforms that aligns with the IRC's brand and mission.
- Ensuring cross-departmental collaboration on communications efforts
Content Creation and Storytelling
Digital Media Management
Event Promotion and Support
Media Relations
Administrative and Reporting
Job Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, or related field.
