TV Antenna/Satellite TV Installer-Technician

TV Antennas are a booming business and International Satellite & Antenna Service is seeking an TV Antenna/Satellite installation technician to work at the Ocala office. We have been in business since 1983 and are looking to add to our talented and energetic team.
Job Title: Field Technician Start Date: Immediate
Job Description: Install and service HD TV Antennas and satellite dishes.
Most of our employees came from another industry and received their training and certification with us.

This position requires person with upper body strength and ability to work on antenna towers up to 50 feet and on ladders and roof tops. Job requires that we go in attics, Under Mobile homes and ??

The Field Technician is responsible for installations and service calls such as:
· Roof Top Antenna installation
· Antenna Tower Installation, Repair and Removal
· Becoming adept at troubleshooting and service calls
· RF Distribution
· Becoming familiar with neighboring markets for traveling support
· Installation and repair of satellite systems (experience not required but helpful).
· Installing new cable in attics, walls and crawl spaces.
Cabling and cabinet organization
· Distribution troubleshooting Skills
Responsibilities/Activities will include but are not limited to the following:
Performing installation of Off-Air Antenna Equipment such as Broadband TV Antennas, Satellite TV, Satellite Internet, Cellular Antennas, FM Antennas, Omni-Directional Antennas and more.

Troubleshooting customer's antenna. This will include reparation of equipment located at the client's site, traveling to and from service calls, on-site installation and repair of equipment.
Maintain inventory of local storage facility. This is where equipment that will be used for installations and maintenance will be kept. It is important to keep this area well organized.
Climb and work on antenna towers roof of buildings to perform equipment installations, troubleshooting, replacement and/or repairs of antennas and other equipment.
Train additional resources and new hires essential job functions.
Monitor inventory and submit order requests in a timely matter for materials such as cable, bolts, mounts, tools and minor equipment purchases needed to complete projects.
Minimum Requirements & amp; Essential Functions:
Cable, Satellite or antenna experience helpful, but not required. We are willing to train individual
Computer Literacy helpful but not required.
Basic Tower Experience is preferred with Tower or Tree Climbing experience at some time.
Driver's License (In good standing). Good Driving Record Vehicle Insurance will be verified upon hire
Basic construction knowledge.
Good communication skills with both clients and internal staff.
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving ability Must be self-motivated maintain a positive personality and have a can-do attitude. Willingness to learn and take on greater responsibility. Must have good physical condition and be able to lift and carry 65lbs
Must own and be adept with hand tools. Company will provide vehicle, some tools, ladders, etc.
This is a full-time position with significant opportunity for over-time. The job location is Ocala, Florida but travel to neighboring markets may be required for support.
Compensation is based on experience. Benefits Include: Hourly Pay plus liberal commissions,, Vacation pay, Holiday Pay, Paid training.
