- Support the ISDenver Mission, Vision, Values, and Beliefs and be a proactive advocate for the school
- Serve as a key representative of the division in admissions, advancement, and other external outreach efforts
- Support a dynamic student life program, including clubs, enrichment opportunities, and other programming
- Act as the primary contact point for staff, students, and parents in the daily operational running of the assigned building and/or division
- Work with the division leadership team and faculty to ensure the effective implementation of behavior management policies
- Convene with parents as needed to discuss student behavior, academic progress, and general inquiries about the division, in alignment with the ISDenver organizational chart.
- Lead and/or manage assemblies, contributing to the whole school social and emotional learning program
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the schools strategic plan and annual action plan.
- Lead and manage the evaluation of learning and teaching within the Division under the authority of HoS
- Supervise the teacher evaluation and growth process
- Support parent and student interviews for new applicants, as needed, in collaboration with the admissions team.
- Work with admissions to recruit new students
- Lead student retention efforts
- In partnership with the Assistant Head and Head of School, recruit, hire, and retain outstanding educators committed to bilingual, international education
- Support the IB Coordinators with the induction and support of all new staff and students
- Develop divisional grade transition protocols in consultation with the whole-school Counselor and the relevant Division Directors
- Assist with coordinating and facilitating staff meetings, in-service training, and professional development sessions.
- In consultation with IB Coordinators and the Director of Finance, be responsible for the allocation of PD funds
- Oversee and monitor assigned staff duties within the division
- Manage the production of course guides and curriculum statements with the IB Coordinators
- Keep the appropriate IB Coordinator accountable for the vertical and horizontal alignment of the curriculum within the division
- Contribute content for the parent newsletter, external communications, and the ISDenver website
- Assist in the compilation of the calendar and events
- Serve as a member of the whole school senior management and curriculum review teams
- Secure substitutes for the division
- Manage the student support services for the division in liaison with the head of student services
- Performs other duties as required

Education/Experience:
Required:
Masters degree or international equivalent
English proficiency with excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)
Level B2 required, C1 preferred (based on Common European Framework of References for Languages) or equivalent certification such as TOEFL or IETLS.
Experience in supervising the faculty process
Previous experience as the instructional leader, trainer or mentor for age appropriate teaching and learning strategies
Experience working with students with a range of learning styles and differences in the mainstream classroom
Well versed in 21st century methodologies with an eye toward innovation and creativity and a commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
Cross cultural exposure and understanding
Experience of successful teaching and leadership in an independent school
Preferred:
Experience in one or more of the International Baccalaureate Programmes
Experience in immersion education
Demonstrated knowledge and strong experience in technology and its integration within the school program
Physical Demands:

Location and Schedule: Expected work hours are 7:45am-3:45pm, M-F; you may have to work outside of these hours periodically. This job does not have remote work flexibility. All employees must be based in Denver, CO.
