What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interim IB MYP Design Teacher position at International School of Texas?
Position: Part-time (25-30 hours per week), contract
Start Date: March 1st, 2025
End Date: May 23rd, 2025
Grades taught: 6-9
The primary responsibility of this position is to teach Design courses to middle school and high school students and to ensure student engagement and curriculum alignment. Preference will be given to teachers with experience teaching in an International Baccalaureate School.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The Interim Design Teacher will ideally have experience teaching STEM related courses in the middle and/or high school years. Additional responsibilities may include supervision or monitoring during student breaks and free periods.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
· Experience teaching middle or high school students
· Experience with the IB MYP framework preferred.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
