INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE CENTER - PROGRAM & EVENT MANAGER
The Program & Event Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing, marketing, communication, and successful execution of ISC’s overall programs and events. These include, but are not limited to, an annual conference and gala as well as monthly membership programming. The scope of work includes project design and management, preparing timeline and budget, marketing the event to target audiences, and continuous evaluation of improving the process. The Program & Event Manager works with a dedicated team member, and collaboratively with all departments that offer additional support as it pertains to their areas of work/expertise. As necessary, the events team will have the additional support of a programming committee, organizational partners, volunteers, and interns. This position reports to the Executive Director.
Primary Responsibilities
· Serves as a primary contact for sponsors and organizing committees to plan the scope and format of the events, establish and monitor budgets, and review administrative procedures and progress of events.
· Oversees and coordinates program logistics, involving production schedules, facilities, equipment, program development, accommodation, and transportation of participants, and others.
· Develops and implements marketing plan and annual programming for multiple years in advance.
· Maintains financial records and prepares reports.
· Participates in and recruits members for conference/event planning committees, and participates in the selection, coordination, planning, and execution of event sessions.
· Develops, coordinates, and participates in marketing efforts and materials for programs and events.
· Performs various post-event duties including evaluation and preparation of final reports.
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience
2. Demonstrated success in effective event planning and implementation, including:
· - Events database management
· - Vendor procurement and contracting
· - Working collaboratively with partner organizations and committees
· - Managing program content
· - Working within established budgets and timelines
This position is hybrid virtual/in-person based in Pittsburgh, with a moderate amount of required travel.
Knowledge of art history and contemporary art practices, and/or experience with arts organizations is required.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
