ISC’s team of Executive Recruiters has been retained by a leading Implementation Firm, housed in Houston, TX, on an Implementation Coach opportunity focused on Oil/Gas & Manufacturing projects. This employee-owned company drives transformative change through on-site coaching, working alongside clients to accelerate improvement. They are rapidly expanding their profile within the U.S. market and are seeking Implementation Coaches to facilitate discussions and provide guidance across all levels of the organization. This Implementation Coach will work onsite at project locations across the U.S., with the choice between commuting weekly, rotating a schedule of time on/off, or relocating (employee and immediate family) to the project site with expenses paid.
In this exciting Implementation Coach opportunity, you will play a key role in empowering leaders and teams to enhance processes and behaviors, aligning them with strategic and operational goals, while linking front-line efforts to overall business performance. The ideal Implementation Coach will be passionate about making an impact, strategically leveraging data, and embracing opportunities for ongoing learning/professional development opportunities. Candidates coming out of the oil/gas, petrochemical, refining or manufacturing sectors who have experience in capital projects, reliability, maintenance and turnaround will be prioritized. The target candidate profile is proactive, hands-on, and able to take initiative, excelling in collaborating with others to drive performance improvements.
Implementation Coach Requirements- To qualify, you should have the following:
- 3-10 years’ relevant work experience, targeting candidates coming out of coaching, consulting or project management roles within oil/gas, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, chemicals, mining, construction, forestry, education, or finance spaces
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree ideal
- Live in a location within 1 hour of a major airport (within the USA)
- Mobility: role requires people to be fully mobile to Commute weekly, Rotate a schedule of 2-3 weeks working on-site and then 2-3 weeks off from work, or Relocate to project site. One way his firm sets themselves apart from competitors is by always having coaches boots on the ground
- Previous project manager and Lean experience, a plus
- Ability to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner
- Working knowledge of asset lifecycle and maturity, ideal
- Foundational understanding of business principles, language, and value drivers
- Autonomy as a self-starter, who can run with a project independently and create necessary structure, adapt to unique needs, functioning as a collaborate part of an implementation team, with support from Senior Coaches

Implementation Coach Responsibilities- Duties for this role include:
- Influence key decision-making, through building strong, trust-based relationships with clients
- Coach clients through defining/clarifying goals, objectives, and challenges
- Lead workshops, team discussions, and problem-solving activities to guide teams in addressing key project issues
- Leverage data to create client-centric frameworks, driving tangible results
- Collaborate with all organizational levels from front-line staff to senior leadership, advancing key projects
- Identify and address barriers to success, maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere
- Work closely with front-line leaders to ensure alignment with larger organizational objectives
- Continuously develop your technical, facilitation, and project management skills through hands-on coaching, professional development and practice
