Director/Senior Director – Supply Chain

ISC’s team of Manufacturing Recruiters is partnering with a thriving Medical Device company to identify an experienced Director of Supply Chain.
The Director of Supply Chain oversees the entire flow of goods within a company and manages core responsibilities such as developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, forecasting demand, optimizing inventory levels, coordinating logistics, and implementing supply chain improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7 years of hands-on supply chain experience
- 2 years of leadership experience with a proven track record of managing and motivating a team
- Proven experience in managing complex supply chains across multiple locations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve supply chain challenges
- Expertise in inventory management systems and logistics software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and forecast demand to optimize inventory levels.
Procurement Management:
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring and quality control.
Inventory Control:
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Implement inventory management systems and forecasting tools.
Logistics Management:
- Manage distribution center operations to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to meet delivery deadlines.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance.
- Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals including planners, buyers, logistics coordinators, and inventory analysts.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
